he government will require cars driven by the partners of ride-hailing apps--such as Grab, GoCar, and Uber--to put a bumper sticker on their cars to publicly identify their status.
"We have completed the public test for the sticker," Transportation Ministry director general for land transportation Pudji Hartanto Iskandar said on Tuesday.
He added that the sticker would include the image of a wheel and a blue letter “T”. "The blue color is a representation of love for the ride-hailing apps," he added.
Pudji previously stated that the sticker requirement would be included in the revision of Transportation Ministry regulation no. 32/2016.

The revision will also include the permission to use cars with engine capacities below 1,000 cc, the base and ceiling fares for trips, the driver quota, the requirement to pay taxes, as well as providing digital dashboards to monitor the operation of the drivers, including the number of active drivers.
