PT Sucorinvest Central Gani, a securities firm, rebrands itself to become PT Sucor Sekuritas as part of its business transformation.
The rebranding will be followed by the firm's efforts to improve its services to customers through faster responses and more added value, Sucor Sekuritas president director Nicolaos Oentung said.
"We will also strengthen our company's foundation so that we can establish better partnerships with the customers," Nicolaos told a media briefing in Surabaya, East Java, on Wednesday.
"We hope our long term reputation will be improved."
Sucor Sekuritas recorded Rp 26 trillion (US$1.9 billion) in equity trading value last year, or around 1 percent of market share.
It aims to increase the figure to Rp 37 trillion by the end of this year.
"That will boost our rank [among securities firms registered with the bourse] from 34 last year to 27 this year with a market share of 2 percent," Sucor Sekuritas equity retail head Jeffry Lomanto said. (bbn)
