The Central Jakarta Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) has removed 76 illegal billboards and those with expired permits.
Central Jakarta Satpol PP head Rahmat Effendy Lubis said the action was jointly conducted with the Central Jakarta Taxation and Fees Agency. “There are 30 joint team members from both agencies,” Rahmat said.
Rahmat said the move to remove the billboards was considered effective because some of the billboards’ owners directly paid their billboard taxes.
All of the removed billboards have been taken to a warehouse in Cakung, East Jakarta, beritajakarta.com reported on Wednesday. (wnd)
