Three freshmen and 14 others were injured during the orientation held at Gondosuli Village in Tawangmangu in January.

Karanganyar Police chief Sr. Adj. Comr. Ade Safri Simanjuntak said the six had been named suspects based on new evidence and testimonies presented during the hearings of the two defendants in the case.

“Following the latest case screenings we have decided that we have enough evidence to name [the six] suspects,” Ade said on Tuesday, adding the suspects could face six years in prison according to articles 170 and 351 of the Criminal Code. (bbs)
