National Police spokesperson Sr. Comr. Awi Setiyono said on Wednesday that the unidentified person did not stop when officers warned him not to enter Gate 2 of the headquarters.
"Brimob officers told him to not to enter the gate but he ignored them," said Awi as quoted by kompas.com.

Also on Wednesday, renowned poet and man of letters Goenawan Mohamad visited Brimob headquarters to demonstrate support for Ahok.
Goenawan, who carried a white rose, said he believed that Ahok's verdict had nothing to do with blasphemy and was more of a political ploy related to the gubernatorial election. (dea)
