View all search resultstaffers of child-friendly integrated public spaces (RPTRA) in the capital will be equipped with skills for managing libraries to improve visitors’ interest in reading, an official said on Wednesday.
The assistant to the city secretary for people welfare, Fatahillah, said the city would develop library facilitates in the public spaces and train the staffers on library knowledge.
"The Library and Archives Agency plans to add special staffers [for libraries]. But, I also asked them to maximize [the potential of] the existing staffers in RPTRA," Fatahillah said as quoted by beritajakarta.id.
The agency had been tasked with giving periodical workshops and assistance on library knowledge to the RPTRA staffers.
There are 188 RPTRAs in Jakarta. (agn)
