o enliven the capital ahead of its 490th anniversary, which will fall on June 22, the Central Jakarta administration is planning to install 20,000 decorative lamps across the municipality.
The LED strip light and meteor-type lamps will be permanently installed in front of City Hall, the City Council building, Central Jakarta mayor’s office and parks on Jl. Medan Merdeka Selatan, Central Jakarta Energy and Industry Agency head Iswandi said on Thursday.
“According to the plan, we will turn off the lamps a week after the anniversary celebration. We will turn them on again on other big days,” Iswandi said as quoted by beritajakarta.id on Thursday.
