“From June 15, the number of delays is still at a tolerable level,” Awaluddin said on Friday as quoted by kompas.com.
The durations of the delays vary from one to two hours.
Awaluddin said the lengths of the delays would not affect the flights and Idul Fitri exodus activities at the airport.
Although delay management is the responsibility of each airline, he said the airport always coordinated with the airlines so that no passenger was stranded.
Based on a Transportation Ministry regulation, passengers who face a delay of more than four hours are eligible to receive a refund, while those experiencing a delay of fewer than four hours are entitled to get food (hol)
