View all search resultsocal media outlets have reported that a leaflet expressing the writer’s allegiance to Islamic State (IS) terrorist group leader Abu Bakar Al Baghdadi has been delivered to the police.
In the leaflet, the police are described as thogut, meaning people who disobey God’s regulations.
“The leaflet was found on the body of a police car. Right now we are digging for more information to determine the origin of this leaflet,” National Police spokesman Insp. Gen. Setyo Wasisto told The Jakarta Post on Tuesday.
He said the police had captured an image of the alleged perpetrator who delivered the leaflet from a nearby CCTV camera. (kuk/dic)
