The case began when a resident reported to the police about someone who owned a firearm in Buaran, Tangerang Police chief Sr. Comr. Harry Kurniawan said on Thursday.
The report led the police to a firearms trader in Bogor, West Java, identified only as I.
“Besides I, we also arrested E who created firearms by modifying replica guns, and another suspect identified as IW,” Harry said as quoted by kompas.com.
The police seized an air rifle that had been converted into a firearm, two revolvers, an automatic pistol and a homemade mini-barreled firearm, 135 rounds and alleged weapons-making tools. (wnd)
