ogor’s immigration office will deport a New Zealand national, JCC, after he ran half-naked through the Bogor Botanical Gardens.

“This is a violation of our laws,” the office’s monitoring and enforcement department head Arif Hazairin Sutoto said on Wednesday night, adding that JCC only wrapped up his body with a towel while running around the gardens.

The 28-year-old New Zealander was arrested by Indonesian Military (TNI) officers and Bogor Botanical Garden patrol officers.

Even though JCC has all the necessary documents and entered Indonesia legally, Arif said he would be deported because he had entered the gardens illegally.

According to Arif, JCC has been in Indonesia since July 1. JCC’s visa will expire on July 30, tempo.co reported. (wnd)
