n an attempt to bring more tourists to Tangerang, Banten, the city administration launched on Wednesday the e-Plesiran mobile app, which provides users with, among other things, information on events and tourist spots in the city.
Tangerang Communications and Information Agency head Tabrani considered the neighboring city of Jakarta as a strategic area full of tourism potential. “The potential of entertainment facilities in the city makes Tangerang worth a visit,” Tabrani said as quoted by tempo.co.
Among tourist destinations in Tangerang are Cipondoh Lake, Tanjung Kait Beach, Thousand-Doors Mosque and a number of water parks, including Marcopolo Waterpark Serpong, Citra Raya Water World and Ocean Park Water Adventure.
The e-Plesiran app, which is integrated with Google Maps, is available in the Play Store. (vny)
