ouse of Representatives Speaker Setya Novanto, currently a graft suspect, will have to skip another questioning session at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) as he has to undergo a medical check-up due to a deteriorating health condition.

Golkar politician Nurul Arifin confirmed that Setya would undergo an examination for his heart at the Premier Hospital in Jatinegara, Jakarta.

"He is still suffering from vertigo. Previously, doctors also found plaque building up in his heart," Nurul said.

She added that Setya had already been admitted to the hospital's cardiac ward.

KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah told reporters that investigators had yet to receive any official confirmation relating to Setya's questioning today.

The antigraft body has summoned Setya again for questioning after the latter failed to answer the first summons on Sept. 11, citing illness.

Setya, who also leads The Golkar Party, has been named a suspect in the e-ID case. (ary)
