After making a condescending statement about Puerto Rico—“I hate to tell you, Puerto Rico, but you’ve thrown our budget a little out of whack”—Trump held a meeting with hurricane victims before playfully tossed rolls of paper towel to a crowd who gathered at an evangelical church in San Juan.

Media personality Areva Martin said that what Trump did to victims of the natural disaster made her 'nauseous'.

Journalist Caleb Ecarma said that Trump likely failed to follow his staffers' advice on directly handing out the paper towel.

CNN journalist and Trump's bête noire Jim Acosta said that Trump's behavior was "strange and un-presidential."
“Can you imagine if we were covering President Barack Obama visiting a hurricane zone, an area devastated by a hurricane, and Barack Obama had been throwing rolls of paper towels at hurricane victims?," Acosta said in a live program broadcast Tuesday night.
