akarta City Hall was once again enlivened by floral arrangements on Monday, a week before the 2012-2017 administration period came to an end.
Dozens of floral arrangements have been lined along City Hall’s gardens and feature thank-you messages addressed to former governor Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama and current Governor Djarot Saiful Hidayat.
"Pak Ahok & Pak Djarot, thank you for your service,” said a message on one flower board sent by Haryanto Hidayat, kompas.com reported on Monday.
"Thank you, Bp [Mr] Basuki & Bp [Mr] Djarot for serving Jakarta with super good quality,” read another from Sanfransisco Group alumni.
Earlier this year, when Ahok and Djarot were defeated in the Jakarta gubernatorial election, City Hall was also flooded by thousands of flower arrangements thanking the two leaders. (agn)
