akarta Governor Djarot Saiful Hidayat said he would finish all of paperwork on Friday so there would be no workload remained when his tenure ended on Sunday.
“I will finish all paperworks which need immediate decisions so there would be no leftover on Saturday,” he said in Jakarta as quoted by kompas.com.
Djarot said he had asked his assistants to move all of the paperwork from City Hall to governor’s official residence on Jl. Taman Suropati in Central Jakarta after Friday prayer.
“I cannot work continuously at the office because sometimes guests come and people ask to take photos,” he said, adding that he predicted to work overtime until daybreak.
Djarot's tenure will end on Sunday which will also mark the end of 2012-2017 city leadership started by (now) President Joko Widodo and former Jakarta governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama. (ecn)
