View all search resultshirty virtual reality (VR) technology devices are ready to be used during the inauguration of Jakarta governor-elect Anies Baswedan and his deputy Sandiaga Uno on Monday.
Anies-Sandiaga team spokesperson Naufal Firman Yusak said 30 VR goggles would be distributed to City Hall and 12 other places in Jakarta.
“We’ll disclose the places later,” Naufal said in a statement on Friday.
Anies-Sandiaga Smart City expert team head Arie Mufti said three 360-degree cameras installed in three spots at City Hall would record the inauguration, which could be viewed using the goggles.
“The camera will record all important moments live. We will not use the zoom feature or use wide angles, to record all the moments,” he said.
The team will conduct a test run on Sunday, Naufal added.
Apart from the goggles, Naufal said the team would also set up screens to broadcast the inauguration. Residents also can also watch the inauguration through a website and app.
“Both can be accessed through smarteyes.id. The inauguration will be broadcast live until the end,” said Smarteyes founder Edwin Pirwandesi. (wnd)
