orum Human Capital Indonesia (FHCI) is aiming to attract 1,200 participants in its second Human Capital Summit, the biggest human capital seminar in the country, by providing international speakers and Indonesian talents.

FHCI chairman Herdy Harman said the organization hopes to see 70 percent of all participants come from State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) and 30 percent from private firms.

“This forum has contributed to the development of human capital systems, especially in SOEs. Many of us have been adapting to implement better human capital system. Our hope is that private firms can see this as a prototype,” he said on Monday.

International human capital experts are slated to speak at the event, including the client research partner of Korn Ferry Hay Group, Signe Spencer, and Deloitte lead partner of Southeast Asia, analytics and information management Stuart Scotis.

Local but globally recognized talents will also be presenting, such as Hollywood film producer Livi Zheng and Energy and Mineral Resources Undersecretary Arcandra Tahar.

The summit, held at Ritz Carlton Pacific Place on Nov. 9-10, is themed Fostering Indonesian Heroes: The Future Competitive Great Talent, which will discuss leadership and economic growth in the digital era.

Established in 2007, FHCI is a human capital practitioner community. Some 1,000 participants joined its summit last year as an effort to achieve President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo’s vision to empower the local workforce to be globally competitive. (ags)
