S

tarting Monday, some Transjakarta routes will be modified to avoid severe traffic congestion at construction sites for major infrastructure projects, such as the Pancoran overpass and the Mampang-Kuningan underpass in South Jakarta.

Transjakarta president director Budi Kaliwono announced on Friday that Transjakarta buses would either enter toll roads or other routes that were clear from any roadwork obstruction.

Kompas.com has reported the following route changes:

1. Pulogadung-Harmoni Transjakarta buses, which usually pass Corridor 2, will go straight to the Rawasari and Pramuka BPKP bus stops of Corridor 10 after passing the Pulogadung-Bermis-Asmi bus stops. The buses will then take Corridor 4 through Pasar Genjing until reaching their last stop, Harmoni Station. This new route will operate from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

2. Buses from PGC-Tanjung Priok will enter the toll road through the Penas tollgate after passing the PGC-BKN-Penas stations. The buses will exit near Plumpang Pertamina station and continue their trip via the stations North Jakarta Municipality-Koja-Enggano-Tanjung Priok. The route will operate from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

3. From 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., Tanjung Priok-PGC buses will enter at the Penas tollgate to reach their last destination--PGC Station.

4. Cililitan-Dukuh Atas buses will go straight to Pramuka BPKP Station and enter Corridor 4 until reaching Dukuh Atas Station. This new route will operate from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.

5. Buses from Kampung Rambutan to Kampung Melayu will enter the Cawang toll road to reach UKI Station. The trip will continue through to Kampung Melayu Station. This route will be in operation from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m.

6. Buses from Monas to Ragunan will only pass BI-Sarinah-Polda-Bunderan Senayan-Patimura-Mabes stations before entering Corridor 13 to reach Tendean-Mampang-Ragunan stations. The route will operate from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. (vny)
