View all search resultshe Jakarta administration has decided to make Transjakarta bus services free for volunteers and journalists covering the 2018 Asian Games, which will be held from Aug. 18 to Sept. 2.
"The city administration will not charge volunteers and journalists covering the Asian Games when traveling with Transjakarta," Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said after a coordination meeting with representatives from the Indonesian Asian Games Committee (INASGOC) on Thursday.
Journalists and volunteers will only be required to show their accreditations to Transjakarta attendants.

INASGOC chairman Erick Thohir said he appreciated the support from the administration.
Jakarta will co-host the quadrennial event along with Palembang, South Sumatra.
