T

he Indonesian men’s team will face Malaysia in the quarterfinals of the 2018 Thomas and Uber Cup world’s team championships in Bangkok, Thailand, on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian women’s team is scheduled to play host Thailand in the quarterfinals, according to a drawing ceremony held on early Thursday.

The women’s team will play at 2 p.m., while the men’s team at 7 p.m.

If the Indonesian men’s team advances to the semifinals, it will meet either China or Taiwan. In the meantime, if the Indonesian women’s team reaches the semifinals it will face either China or Denmark.

Record 13-time title holder Indonesian men’s team is on a hunt to reclaim the trophy after a 16-year draught.

Meanwhile, three-time title holder Indonesian women’s team, which has been struggling since its last victory in 1996, is looking to return to the top.
