ome 50 motorcyclists vandalized Manado restaurants and a car after parading around the area on Jl. A. Yani in Central Jakarta on Tuesday, police said.

Cempaka Putih Police chief Comr. Rosiana said on Wednesday that they had identified the physical features of the two suspects. The mob allegedly vandalized a car and Andy Watung and Bunaken restaurants, which served traditional cuisine from North Sulawesi, on Tuesday.

“There are two suspects who threw [stones at the restaurants], [both] 160 to 170 centimeters tall, one wearing a green jacket and trousers, while the other was wearing a white shirt. One of the suspects is skinny, while the other is a bit fat. [They are] 24 to 25 years old,” Rosiana said on Wednesday, kompas.com reported.

She said according to eyewitness accounts, 50 motorcyclists were seen parading around the area before the vandalism took place.

She said the suspects immediately fled after throwing stones at the restaurants.

Cempaka Putih district head Andri Ferdian said the suspected vandals also intimidated the locals.

Meanwhile, Central Jakarta Police deputy chief Sr. Comr. Ardie Ardian said the police were still investigating the case. “We can’t point fingers at an organization. We have to make sure of it first,” Ardie said as reported by tempo.co.

The incident went viral on Twitter, with user @Aryprasetyo85 posting pictures of the damaged car and one of the damaged restaurants' glass storefront, saying that the vandalism had taken place as retaliation against Islamic preacher Muhammad bin Ali bin Smith, who the locals protested in Sam Ratulangi airport in Manado, North Sulawesi, on Monday.
