andals struck a Transjakarta bus after a soccer match between the Persija Jakarta soccer club and Mitra Kukar from Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan on Sunday.

"The bus was scribbled with the words 'JKT DAY'," PT Transjakarta spokesman Wibowo said told kompas.com on Monday. Persija won the match, which was held at the Gelora Bung Karno sports complex in Central Jakarta.

Transjakarta president director Agung Wicaksono also voiced his disappointment.

"The success of Persija in winning the Liga 1 was smeared by these acts of vandalism on the Transjakarta bus that was done by certain individuals who scribbled on the bus," said Agung.

He said that in the near future, PT Transjakarta would report the incident to the authorities along with witness details and CCTV footage as evidence.

"The culprits should be firmly acted upon because they have sabotaged public facilities that are owned and maintained by all of us," said Agung. (mai)
