The Netherlands

The organizer lauded the Netherlands, the partner country in 2014, for setting benchmarks, such as the number of exhibitors, the wide range of topics addressed and the successful “nation branding”. Featuring 240 exhibitors and nine shared booths in all Hannover Messe exhibition sections, the Netherlands’ strong presence was dubbed historic.

India

India’s appearance as the partner country in 2015 could be described as innovative, self-assured and bold. Its showcase was not only extensive but also rich in delightful surprises and inspiration, the organizer says. Around 400 Indian exhibitors took part in each of the major sections in Hannover Messe. The country’s industrial sector is growing and is a partner that the international business community can rely on.

The United States

Strengthening American-German industry, solidifying trade relations and exchanging innovative ideas were all that made the United States’ entry to Hannover Messe as the partner country in 2016 a complete success, the organizer says. No less than 465 US companies participated in the trade show, the largest American trade delegation ever at an event outside the US. The 5,000 visitors from the US set a new attendance record — these professionals turned up for the event to invest in modern automation and energy technologies.

Poland

“Smart means Poland” was the best way the organizer summed up its partner country’s presentation in 2017. As Germany’s next-door neighbor, Poland used the trade show to attract business partners and highlight its expertise in the energy and information technology sectors. Poland’s appearance was convincing evidence as over 150 companies showcased their know-how in industrial know-how and software. The country also provided promising investment opportunities to many trade visitors.

Mexico

For the organizer, its cooperation with Mexico in 2018 represented a number of “firsts”. Mexico was the first Spanish-speaking partner country and the first Latin American country to assume the role. Mexico lived up to its keynote themes of Industry 4.0, energy and environmental technology, vocational training, startups and foreign investment opportunities.

Sweden

Collaboration, innovation and digital transformation were at the heart of Sweden’s showcase as the partner country in 2019, the organizer says. The Swedish government and industry are clearly committed to pursuing digital transformation.

Sweden ranks highly in international comparison on everything, from business to startups, innovation and quality of life, making Swedish companies relevant partners for innovation, trade and investment.

Indonesia

As the partner country in 2020, Indonesia will present “Making Indonesia 4.0” to the world and promote foreign investment. Trade Minister Airlangga Hartarto said the goal was to modernize the country’s production industries and develop digital infrastructure.
