Indonesia’s tourist industry is also the fastest-growing in ASEAN, representing 5.25 percent of gross domestic product and responsible for 12.7 million jobs. Foreign tourist arrivals reached an estimated 15.8 million last year, 12.6 percent higher than the 2017 mark.
