wo-time Wushu World Champion Priscilla Hertati Lumban Gaol of Indonesia will step into the ONE Circle again opposite China’s Meng Bo at ONE: INSIDE THE MATRIX II, a previously recorded event from the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore scheduled to air this Friday.

“I am very glad to be able to compete again. I really didn’t expect it, so I’m happy. I can’t wait to represent my country once more inside the ONE Circle. I will do my best,” said Priscilla as stated in a press statement sent to The Jakarta Post on Wednesday.

Against Meng, Priscilla faces an elite Chinese veteran famous for being the only woman in the world to have defeated current UFC women’s strawweight champion Zhang Weili. Meng is also the No. 2-ranked women’s atomweight contender in ONE Championship.

If Priscilla were to defeat Meng, it would surely catapult her up the official rankings, and perhaps even allow her to break the top five.

However, Priscilla acknowledged not to have been expecting Meng to be an easy opponent,

“She’s a tough opponent. Her record speaks for itself. The game plan will be key in this fight,” said Priscilla.

“For now, I am just trying to improve my stamina and focus on sharpening the techniques I already have. I feel I’ve become more self-disciplined now. I train a lot harder, and most of the deficiencies in my game are being addressed. I still have a long way to go, but I’m moving in the right direction.”

In the main event, reigning ONE Welterweight World Champion Kiamrian Abbasov of Kyrgyzstan makes the first defense of his world title against undefeated top contender James Nakashima of the United States.
