The State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Ministry says it plans to request an additional Rp 25 trillion (US$1.68 billion) from state coffers this year to aid several state-run construction firms, many of which are burdened by debt.
PT Adhi Karya (ADHI) is seeking to raise trillions of rupiah in a rights issuance scheduled for October to finance the state-owned firm’s infrastructure projects, including a toll road linking Yogyakarta to its nearby international airport.

According to publicly listed state-owned builder PT Adhi Karya Tbk, the project is 55.13 finished as of Oct. 4 and the first LRT train has been placed at Harjamukti Station in Cibubur, East Jakarta.
City-owned developer PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) is set to proceed with the construction of mega project the Jakarta International Stadium in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, despite objections from the losing bidder over the result of the tender.
