Jokowi opts to stay in two-star hotel in Ambon
President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo arrived in Ambon, Maluku, on Tuesday alongside First Lady Iriana for a working visit. Interestingly, the President and his entourage opted to stay in a two-star hotel instead of other higher-rated accommodations that are aplenty in the city.

Ambon residents block street in anger at police’s ‘slow response’
Residents of Batu Merah subdistrict in Sirimau, Ambon, blocked Jl. Jenderal Sudirman, which spans the subdistrict’s central area, on Sunday evening in protest of the police's “slow response” to legally process a case involving a fatal clash that killed a high school student identified as Ibnu Kusuma, 16, last Friday.
