While putting its best efforts into securing peace in Gaza, President Prabowo Subianto said Indonesia would always be cautious, especially in deploying its troops on the Board of Peace’s peacekeeping mission in the territory.
The Foreign Ministry has issued a statement stressing the TNI's humanitarian role in Gaza in a bid to allay concerns that Indonesia might become embroiled in combat or disarmament operations, which would go against its long-standing support for an independent Palestine.
