The national flag carrier currently flies three times a week from Timika in Papua to Manado in North Sulawesi via Sorong using an ATR aircraft with a capacity of 96 seats.

The airline's sales and service manager in Timika, Novian, told Antara news agency on Monday that although the demand for such a route approaching the end of the year has increased, the ticket prices have remained stable.
Timika-Sorong tickets are priced at Rp 1.6 million (US$119), whereas direct Timika-Manado tickets are sold for Rp 2.5 million. (mra/kes)
