s Pesona Kebangsaan (Nation Charms) Parade 2017 comes to an end, tourists and locals alike journeyed to the top to Mount Kelimutu in Ende, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), on Wednesday to enjoy performances from local artists and wayang (shadow puppets) Ajen.

Hundreds of young people of different ethnicities and religions performed in front of domestic and foreign tourists from France, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom at the place, which is home to the picturesque three-colored lakes.

The event started with Ende’s young artists performing national anthem “Indonesia Raya," followed by Bung Karno’s speech recited by Bandung-based artist Wawan Sofwan, who mimicked the voice of the first president of Indonesia.

Hashtag #JayalahPancasila (The Glory of Pancasila) was listed on the national trending topics on Twitter thanks to members of Indonesian Charms Generation who constantly posted Pancasila-related posts.

The main event of Pesona Kebangsaan Parade 2017 will be the Pancasila ceremony to commemorate Pancasila Day on June 1.

Apart from Bung Karno Mediation Park and Bung Karno Exile House, Ende has plenty of attractions to offer, such as the Wolotopo customary village, the three-colored Lake Kelimutu, tenun ikat (woven fabric) Museum, Ria Beach, which is also known as Ende Beach, Jopu customary village, Ende Traditional Market, Batu Biru Beach, Murondao Waterfall and Ende Maritime Museum.
