leman tourism department is set to hold a photography workshop on August 9 at Omah Kecebong, Sendari. The workshop will feature renowned photographer Darwis Triadi to share his knowledge as well as discussing the photography competition titled “Capturing Sleman's Beauty and Heritage Thru The Eyes of Photography.”
Darwis Triadi's visit is hoped to spark the interest amongst youngsters in Yogyakarta and Sleman to explore more tourist destinations in the area through photography.

The photography competition is part of the Sleman Fashion Festival (SFF) that aims to promote Sleman as a shopping destination for batik and fashionable items.
The SFF event features seminars and workshops that are related to batik, fashion and creative industry such as “The Development of Instrument and Technology in Natural Coloring” seminar on August 7.
The “Looking Confident” and “Make Up and Hair Styling” workshops are scheduled to be held on August 9.
Scheduled events on August 10 will feature “The Importance of Intellectual Rights for Creators” seminar, “Why You Need to Sign Up for HAKI” discussion, “Marketing Digitalization of Lifestyle Industry” seminar, “How to Broaden the Market using Digital Marketing as a Platform to Sell and Promote” seminar and “Toward an Independent Village Industry” workshop.
