Bintan in Riau Islands is set to host a night run event on Nov. 4 named Bintan Moon Run (BMR) 2017.

“This event is unlike any other running events as the participants will be running under the moonlight around a man-made lake,” said Bintan Regent Apri Sujadi.

Taking place at Treasure Bay area, Lagoi Bay, Bintan Resort, the venue is said to be the biggest location in Southeast Asia that is equipped with 6.5 hectares of a beach-themed pool.

“We are aiming to attract at least 1,000 participants with half of them are from overseas,” Apri added.
