South Bangka regency in Bangka Belitung held Babel Trail Run 2017 on Nov. 26.
The running event was divided into two categories: Students (10K) and public (21K) and joined by hundreds of participants.
South Bangka tourism, youth and sports department head Haris Setiawan said that the event was one of the efforts from the regional administration to promote tourism in South Bangka.
“The South Bangka Regent seems very enthusiastic about the Babel Train Run 2017 event. This can give a real impact for South Bangka especially since most of its participants are from outside Bangka Belitung. The event is planned to become an annual event,” said Haris.
