Terminal 3 offers traditional snacks for early-morning passengers

Those wondering what to have for breakfast when they arrive for an early-morning flight departing from Terminal 3 at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport can look forward to enjoying a variety of delectable traditional snacks.

hose wondering what to have for breakfast when they arrive for an early-morning flight departing from Terminal 3 at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport can look forward to enjoying a variety of delectable traditional snacks. 

Terminal 3 has installed several food stalls that will be open before daybreak in front of Gate 12 at the departure lounge. According to tempo.co, the food stalls are open every day from 3:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

In addition to sweet snacks like bugis daun (banana wrapped in banana leaf), nagasari (sticky rice cake with banana), dadar gulung (traditional crepe), kue mangkok (steamed rice flour cupcake), kue lumpur (steamed cake) and pukis (coconut milk cake), passengers can also purchase savory snacks like tahu isi (stuffed tofu), pastel (fried pastry filled with rice noodles and egg) and ote-ote udang (deep-fried prawns). The sweet and savory snacks range from Rp 8,000 (60 US cents) to Rp 20,000 ($1.50).

Aside from snacks, the food stalls offer ready-to-serve dishes.

Passengers can eat at the tables provided or buy the food to take away. Hot coffee and tea are also available for Rp 23,000 ($1.70) to Rp 25,000 ($1.85). (kes)
