Those planning to travel to cities in Java by train may want to utilize a promotion being offered by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI).
On its official Twitter account, the state-owned railway company announced its Jadi Mudik II promotion program available until June 26. Different starting points are offered, including Bandung in West Java, Malang in East Java, Jakarta and Surabaya in East Java.

Those who live in Bandung and want to travel to Yogyakarta or Surakarta, Central Java, from June 19 to 26 can book tickets priced at Rp 140,000 ($9.9) to Rp 230,000.
Jakarta residents who want to explore Cirebon in West Java and other cities in Central Java, such as Tegal and Semarang, can buy tickets with prices ranging from Rp 80,000 to Rp 255,000. Tickets to East Java cities, namely Blitar, Surabaya and Malang, are available from the starting price of Rp 150,000.
