P

lanes have been diverted after a thick blanket of fog covered Sydney, including the Sydney Harbour Bridge and almost the whole city skyline, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) reported on Thursday.

Sydney Airport has advised travelers to check with their airlines, after a number of services were delayed or diverted.

So far, flights to and from Singapore are not affected.

Sydney's Transport Management Centre said at 8.20am local time that all ferries had resumed normal service.

"What usually happens in scenarios like this is once the sun comes up the fog will burn," David Wright from Transport Management Centre told ABC.
