Kota Tua popular destination among Asian Games guests

he Kota Tua area in West Jakarta has been hailed as one of the most popular destinations for athletes as well as country guests during the 2018 Asian Games.
The Jakarta History Museum is said to have welcomed guests from Korea since Aug. 18.
Up to 125 Koreans reportedly visited the museum, which has started to highlight the latest technology in its exhibition during the opening day of the Asian Games.
One Korean visitor, Kim Hyun-suk, said he was very happy to be able to visit the museum as he gains much information regarding the history of Jakarta and Jakarta as the host of Asian Games.
"This place is rich with history; we are happy to visit it. We are also very impressed with the opening ceremony of the 2018 Asian Games," he told Antara.

During the Asian Games, the place, also known as the Fatahillah Museum is open every day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the public and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. for guests with an identity card issued by the Indonesian Asian Games Organizing Committee (INASGOC).
The museum management provides attendants who are proficient in English, Arabic or Dutch languages, who are high school students in Jakarta.
Additionally, during the event, the museum also hosts a special exhibition of the country as the host of the 1962 Asian Games, featuring photos of figures, activities and mass media that reported on the preparation as well as the success of the event. (kes)
