Astra's vehicle rental app Movic expands to airport transfer service

Airport Rent is available at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport’s arrival area of terminals 1, 2 and 3.

T Astra Digital Internasional’s vehicle rental marketplace app Movic has introduced a new service that provides airport transfers in seven airports across the country.

“At the airport, Movic provides Airport Rent service to ease and satisfy the public when they need to go to and leave the airport; our price already includes toll and airport parking,” said Astra Digital chief Djap Tet Fa in a statement on Tuesday as quoted by Antara.

Airport Rent is currently available at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport’s arrival area of terminals 1, 2 and 3. Meanwhile, among the six other partner airports are Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport in East Jakarta; Husein Sastranegara International Airport in Bandung, West Java; Adisucipto International Airport in Yogyakarta; Achmad Yani International Airport in Semarang, Central Java; Sultan Syarif Kasim II Airport in Pekanbaru; and Hang Nadim Airport in Batam, Riau Islands.

Movic officially partners with taxi company Blue Bird’s Golden Bird rental service as well, reported Antara.

The rental app itself boasts presence in 47 Indonesian cities, offering various vehicle options, from commercial and bus to private cars. Among its features are flexible rental duration and price, insurance and option to drive yourself or requesting a driver. (kes)
