A

t least four schools in North Maluku will receive a national exam integrity award, also known as UN Jujur, from the Culture and Education Ministry.

The awards are set to be given out directly by President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo during his visit to the province on Wednesday.

Pitson Kutani, Halut’s Education, Youth and Sports Agency head, told Antara news agency on Tuesday that the four schools comprised the vocational high school SMK Percis Halmahera and the junior high schools SMP Kristen Tobelo, SMP Negeri 1 Tobelo and SMP Kao Barat.

In addition to scoring good grades, honesty was very important during the national exam, said Pitson.

He added that schools in North Halmahera had recorded a high integrity index within North Maluku during last year's national exam. (ken/kes)
