ouTube's gaming platform on which gamers connect with each other through videos and live streams is available to Indonesians via web and mobile app on iOS and Android as of April 7.
The official website currently has more than 25,000 games, each with its own page that consists of all the game's videos and best live streams. There are also channels from many different game publishers and YouTube creators.
If users want to stay up to date with these games and channels, they just add a game to their collection for quick access or subscribe to get notifications as soon as they start a live stream. The web also gives recommendations based on chosen videos and channels.
The gaming community is undoubtedly large on YouTube, and realizing this, it put live streams at the front and center of its homepage.
Android users are fortunate because they can record and livestream using the mobile capture feature. It is as simple as tapping "Go Live" on the YouTube gaming app and it automatically records them using the front camera and their commentaries using the device's microphone. (kes)
