tourist beach area called Pohon Cinta (Love Tree) Beach in Marisa, Pohuwato regency, Gorontalo province, has been turned into a reading spot for children.
"Children can be found hanging out in the area, thus we decided to invite them to join reading activities by providing children's books at the location," said Pohuwato library office head Yonarti Pikoli on Wednesday. Available between 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., the kids are also allowed to borrow books and bring them home as long as they ask for library manager's permission.
