Suara April (April Votes), a film produced by the General Elections Commission (KPU), is set to make its theatrical debut in Medan, North Sumatra on April 14.

North Sumatra KPU head Yulhasni said the film would serve as an encouragement for members of the public, especially the millennial generation, to use their voting rights in the simultaneous presidential and legislative elections on April 17.

“The film sends a message that encourages the public to cast their votes on the 17th,” Yulhasni said, as quoted by Antara
