Emmy Award-winning series Silicon Valley is set to return for a third season with some new guest stars. 

The new season's first episode will follow after the dismissal of Richard Hendricks (Thomas Middleditch) as Pied Piper CEO and his dilemma between leaving the company for good or accepting the diminished role of CTO. Meanwhile, fans will get to see new faces including Pied Piper's new CEO Jack Barker (Stephen Tobolowsky) who Elrich (T.J. Miller) quickly takes a shine to. 

The third season of Silicon Valley will consists of 10 episodes while the premiere, titled "Founder Friendly", will be aired on April 25 on HBO. 

In addition to Middleditch and Miller, other series regulars include Zach Woods as Jared; Kumail Nanjiani as Dinesh; Martin Starr as Gilfoyle; Josh Brener as Big Head; Amanda Crew as Monica; Matt Ross as Gavin Belson; Jimmy O. Yang as Jian-Yang; and Suzanne Cryer as Laurie Bream. Meanwhile, among returning guest stars this season are Ben Feldman as Ron LaFlamme, Alice Wetterlund as Carla and Chris Diamantopoulos as Russ Hanneman. As for new guest stars, beside Tobolowsky, the producers will also bring in Annie Sertich as tech blogger C.J. Cantwell.

Directed by Mike Judge and written by Dan O’Keefe, Silicon Valley takes a comedic look at the modern-day high-tech gold rush, where the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of handling success. The pilot episode was aired in 2014 and gained positive feedback in addition to winning Emmy awards and being nominated for a Golden Globe. (kes)
