s classic Indonesian comedy Warkop gets made into a movie, to be titled Warkop DKI Reborn, fans have been speculating on who will play the three main characters: Dono, Kasino and Indro.
Some of the most popular predictions circulated by netizens are Vino G. Bastian to play Kasino, Tora Sudiro as Indro and Abimana Aryasatya as Dono. This lineup surfaced when a tweet was posted showing the three actors with the Warkop DKI Reborn team. Vino himself has denied he has been cast as Kasino.

Although the remake comes as good news to some, there are also fans who are worried. When asked about his thoughts on it, Indrodjojo "Indro" Kusumonegoro told kompas.com, “Some of [the fans] support [the remake] and some of them don’t. If we didn’t create this remake, would you want to keep on watching the old films? I think the world should keep on moving; we need to think ahead.”

The remake, reportedly being produced by Falcon Pictures and directed by Anggy Umbara, is slated to be released in September. (kes)
