Apple Watch

Wearing an Apple Watch is like having an iPhone on your wrist. It does what the oh-so popular smartphone does, such as make and receive calls, allows you to read emails and even talk to the personal digital assistant Siri. Making you stay healthy through an application that encourages you to exercise is another perk. 

In terms of appearance, the Apple Watch features a sleek look accompanied by a customized strap. However, its screen may look small for some people and it will be hard for users to zoom, give a comment on Facebook. let alone read Tweets or watch videos.

ASUS ZenWatch

Using Android Wear as its operating system, ASUS ZenWatch seems eager to not miss out on being part of the smartwatch competition. Its newest version, ZenWatch WI500Q, boasts being able to view incoming calls and notifications, measure and monitor your health statistics and find your phone when it gets lost. 

In general, ZenWatch has sophisticated curves and design by utilizing leather or metal bands. Its more affordable price will also suit people who see smartwatches as an additional luxury to their smartphone.

Motorola Moto 

While other smartwatches are proud with their curves, Motorola Moto takes a different step and goes round instead. The newest version, Moto 360, is powered by Android Wear but also compatible with iOS. Its highlights include wireless charging, being dust and water resistant and voice command. 

Moto basically offers a classic yet elegant design with its stainless steel frame and leather bands. The newest version provides different band sizes for women and men.

Samsung Gear

Gear is Samsung's weapon to participate in the smartwatch war. Its latest generation Gear S2 comes with a hipster round-shaped design that eases you in navigating the device. In terms of abilities, its benefits include quick texting, listening to music, receiving important updates and wireless charging. Also, it enables you to view notifications and know health-related statistic about you. 

The Gear S2 offers a sleek and simple design that’s more suitable for the younger generation, while the classic version looks timeless with its rose gold or platinum finish.

Pebble Smartwatch

Coming with Android or iOS versions, Pebble Time Round boasts a round-faced form with a wide range of designs, from the rather feminine to the very masculine. 

At a quick glance, it looks just like a regular watch, while in fact it can keep you updated with health, fitness and sleep tracking statistics. It also has a quick-recharge feature that takes up around 15 minutes for some lengthy use. (kes)
