ig Bang’s T.O.P. will debut as a curator at an auction to be held by Sotheby’s Hong Kong in October according to YG Entertainment.
For the sale “#TTTOP,” named after his Instagram account that boasts over 5 million followers, the member of the superstar K-pop band who also acts under the name Choi Seung-hyun will share his artistic side.

Known to be an avid collector of designer furniture and contemporary art, he has contributed his collection to Yang Haegue’s exhibition at Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art, and co-curated an Asian art exhibition at ArtScience Museum in Singapore.
Part of the auction’s proceeds will be donated to Asian Cultural Council, a nonprofit organization, to support young Asian artists, Sotheby’s explained. And T.O.P. will participate in the auction pro bono, according to his company YG Entertainment.
“I hope struggling young Asian artists can be creative and work in a slightly more stable environment,” the showbiz icon said, adding, “I will continue to work on similar projects.”
