Former K-pop group 4Minute member Jiyoon is set to make her debut as a solo artist in October, news reports said Wednesday.
Jiyoon recently wrapped up photo shoots for her profile pictures, according to a Sports Donga report.
She debut as a rapper in 4Minute in 2009 and this will be her first solo project since the girl group disbanded in June.

Jiyoon is the second former 4Minute member to strike out on her own, following HyunA, who released an EP “A‘wesome” on Aug. 1.
Jiyoon is the first musician to sign a contract with local entertainment agency JS E&M, which normally works with actors. The firm has said it will create a team to exclusively support the performing artist.
