Attarine is the latest venture by Indonesian hospitality and lifestyle company PTT Family. Having opened mid-October, the eatery’s menu is inspired by the historic route of the spice trade. Among its dishes, the two signature menus are lamb shoulder chops and cast-iron skillet shrimps. The former is cooked in a saffron braised onion and garlic, while the latter features ingredients like chilli, coriander and tamarind.

NamNam Noodle Bar is not exactly the new kid on the block. The Singapore-based Vietnamese restaurant opened its first outlet in Jakarta in January last year. It recently opened its fourth outlet in Senayan City shopping mall, South Jakarta, though. While the menu and concept are similar, this newly opened branch is the biggest among its sibling outlets as it can accommodate up to 110 customers.
