ritish rock band Coldplay has confirmed it will play in Asia in April next year as part of its latest album tour, A Head Full of Dreams.
The band is scheduled to visit Taiwan, the Philippines, South Korea, Japan and Singapore.
The tour will start on April 1 at the National Stadium Singapore and is slated to end on April 19 at Japan's Tokyo Dome. Tickets will go on sale on Nov. 21 for the Singapore and Tokyo gigs. Meanwhile, those seeking to watch performances in Manila, Seoul or Taipei can purchase tickets from Nov. 24.

As announced on the band’s official website, it will be the first time for Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion to play concerts in Taiwan, the Philippines and South Korea. Previously, they performed in Japan in 2014 and Singapore way back in 2009.
In June, there were rumors that Coldplay was set to perform in Indonesia on Nov. 26 at the Indonesian Convention Center (ICE) in BSD, Tangerang, which was later confirmed as a hoax. The band is slated to perform in New Zealand and Australia in December. (kes)
